Commissions
I create commissioned oil portraits of both people and animals. Depending on the size, a portrait typically takes 3–6 months to complete, with animal portraits usually finished more quickly. The timeline includes drying, varnishing, and framing. I am now accepting new commissions for: May 2026.
Animal portraits
Prices are for one animal, and include framing and worldwide shipping. Another animal in the same image +25%.
Importing art from Finland is duty-free to at least the USA and the EU. To avoid surprises, please check local regulations for other regions.

Human portraits
In human portraits, faces are normally painted in natural size, or a little bit smaller. Size of the painting will be determined by how much body & background one wants to include in the image. Here are some examples.

What to expect
Initially, we'll choose the photo to be used as reference, and I will plan the composition & color scheme of the painting, as per your wish. Once you are happy with my design, I will start painting. I will ask for upfront 25% at this point.
