Welcome to my website!

I'm Hanna Koljonen, a visual artist from Finland. I primarily work with oil paints and specialize in pet portraits as well as wildlife paintings.

Nature and the animal world deeply fascinate me. The forest is where I feel most at home, and I have experienced unforgettable moments encountering wild animals such as foxes, deer, and even a lynx. These encounters have inspired many of my paintings.

I'm equally fascinated by pets and domestic animals and their close relationship with humans. I'm deeply moved by the strong bond and trust that can develop between two beings without a shared language. Many of my closest friends have walked on four legs.

In my paintings, I aim to capture the individual character and personality of each animal – the qualities that make every single one unique.
